Pictures!

Dinner Date to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse
Liam stayed with our friend Amy..
Yum! We cleaned our plates - literally!

the packing began....

and continued...

Things moved from the "Man Cave/Guest Room" out into the dining/living room...

Footwear... ;-)

Other people's stuff that we took to the ship (at the Port at Morehead City) on Monday ...
Nolan flew the Osprey out to the ship on Thursday...

Nolan adding his pack...

Truck bed full of stuff to go to the ship!

Liam and Nolan after taking everything to the ship!

Nolan is always trying to expand Liam's horizon with new foods... ;-)
This was a panini from Panera Bread!

USS Bataan at the port
(behind the big white container looking thing...)

Two nights before Nolan deployed...
trip to Home Depot for wood to put under his mattress to keep it from sagging...

Olive Garden "To Go"... It is tradition for our last night in a house before we move...
We should be moving houses in July/August, so before Nolan gets back...

Captain and Captain ;-)

Deployment Day
March 31, 2011

Self portrait before we headed to the squadron... up bright and early!!!
Me not looking so hot... tears & lack of sleep will do that to you I guess :-)

Nolan going to wake Liam up...
Liam had eaten at 4am and only been back down about 2 hours... he was so very confused!

Tired baby...
As Nolan says "He hooked himself!" haha!

Yay! for our talking "Daddy Doll" while Nolan is gone...
Not to mention the many videos he recorded for Liam to watch! :-)

Sandi wanted to be in the picture too! haha
Nolan and George at the squadron...

3 of us in the squadron parking lot...

Sweetest picture ever... yet the saddest moment of it all... for both of us...

After donuts with fellow pilot wives I went home and got Sandi...
Liam, Sandi and I went out to Onslow Beach to see if we could see the ship..
Visibility was horrible so we couldn't, but we did get to watch some LCACs go from the land and disappear into the horizon... they were headed out to the ship...

Photo op at Onslow Beach...
Unfortunately no ship in the background, but it was out there somewhere, so Nolan is in this picture... you just can't see him! ;-)
