Our happy little family on our 1st wedding anniversary!
(Sandi was super excited about the Ladwig's and their dog, Puddles,
being at the house, so we have a pretty tight grip on her)
Sandi posing for a picture in the front yard!
(looking like a lab more and more everyday!)
This picture reminds me of one that my Mom has of her black lab, Magic, when she was a puppy!
Our back yard when we moved in.... lots of leaves!
almost 4 1/2 months later... the grass seed is going to town!
(it's amazing what a little water can do!)
Although the success was delayed, we are thinking about putting down some more grass seed to see if we can get atleast half of our backyard to have grass! We'll keep you posted!

Have you thought about sod? We paid $45 for 150 square feet (I think the rolls were five feet long, two feet wide - we got 15 rolls). You have to keep it watered like crazy for the first two weeks, but it looks awesome, and it was a lot less investment than we thought. You could at least get a good bit of the yard covered for under $50 (if the prices are the same out there) and it's an instant result! Oh, but you'd have to keep Sandi off of it until it roots (about two weeks).
