4-5 weeks ................................................... almost 29 weeks
..................................................... measuring 33 weeks (maybe 34 now)
Well, here I am!
Since I am (and have been for a month now) measuring 5 weeks ahead of schedule I/we can't wait til Wednesday to find out what is going on in there!!! :-)
Yesterday, was my oh so fun gestational diabetes test.... I must say the orange drink wasn't too bad. I did the 1 hour test, if I failed it (which I didn't hear from them today, so I think I am good) I will have to do a 3 hour test...
Today, Nolan and I worked a bit on the nursery... since we JUST might be having this baby in 6 weeks instead of 11 weeks.... moving the last few things (a treadmill and tv/tv stand) out! We planned to get the crib and bassinet together, but I went to help a friend make a diaper cake and then to a squadron spouses' meeting, so we hope to do that tomorrow/this weekend.
Nolan also put together the stroller frame today, so we are stroller ready! :-) The car seat just snaps into this frame. :-)
We also purchased this baby bag with a gift card that my friend, Annan, sent! :-)
Lastly, last night was our first Lamaze/Childbirth Education class.... it was quite informative for both of us!
Nolan has been on leave since Friday afternoon, so we headed up to Virginia/Washington DC to visit Josh, Nolan's best friend since 4th grade, and Josh's wife, Jill, who recently moved to the area....
We have had a great time away from Jacksonville, but will be returning on Tuesday evening... I will try to post a picture/baby update Tuesday night! :-)
Just a quick idea of how huge my belly is getting.... this past Sunday was 28 weeks and on Friday I was measuring 33 weeks! Ahhhh!
Today was Baby Dean's latest doctor's appointment, since my belly was measuring ahead 2 weeks ago....
Well, the hope that I/he just had a growth spurt and that in 2 weeks we would be back on track didn't turn out that way...
I am measuring 33 weeks! :-o Holy Cow! (or maybe that's just what I am feeling like! haha)
Just kidding, but none the less, the midwife was intrigued by the whole thing... so much that although she doesn't need to see me for 4 weeks, she is wanting to see me again in 2!
I gained 2 pounds it the past 2 weeks, which is a little on the high side of average, but overall, I have only gained 18 pounds so far, which is pretty much normal...
She felt on my belly and really isn't thinking I have too much amniotic fluid (which is what she thought 2 weeks ago)... She is now throwing out the idea of a big baby, a due date that is off (which I don't think is it, but who knows) or even TWO babies! ha I find that hard to believe, but I suppose anything is possible! :-)
We go back on the 13th for a "growth scan" ultrasound to see what is going on in there... and then will have an appointment with the midwife to discuss the ultrasound/where we go from there....
