The beginning of the end...

Today is 37 weeks!!!

Baby Dean is considered "full term"! Whoop!

We will head to the Naval Hospital bright and early tomorrow... I am to be there at 7am.

Once we arrive, we will complete paperwork and I will be prepped for the amniocentesis, as well as for a c-section; simply a precautionary measure to be ready to get Baby Dean out if he or I show any signs of distress...

The doctor believes the amnio will begin around 9 am and doesn't take too long... while we wait for results, which at this moment in time we have been told it may be a day or two, however we are hoping it won't be that long, I will be an inpatient at the Naval Hospital, as I/the specialist are concerned about what the amnio procedure may trigger (ie - labor.. water breaking... etc) seeing as how my uterus is measuring 42 weeks... and my braxton hicks contractions are still 6 - 8 minutes long, pretty much 24/7.

We will keep you posted... :-)

Praying this morning - I know you are already there and I hope it's all going perfectly! Hang in there, friend!
